Sandy Hook VFR and Newtown Hook & Ladder responded early Monday morning to a car fire on Church Hill Road, in Hook & Ladder’s district.

Fire Destroys Barn; Animals & Homeowners Safe (Saturday, June 21, 2025)
All five Newtown companies were dispatched at 16:19 Saturday to a reported barn fire at 83 Toddy Hill Road, within Sandy Hook’s district. The barn was lost, and there was damage to multiple vehicles, but there were no injuries to animals, the homeowners nor any firefighters.
